For the month of October we shared decorating and gift giving ideas.  Some of the members brought cute ideas to sew and share with neighbors or family.  We had our show and tell and then our business part of the meeting.  Thanks to all those who sewed pillowcases for the humanitarian project.  It was a great success and our guild was able to make a significant donation.

September Meeting

We met back at the School District Office.  Ashley demonstrated a flying geese method that was shown at Snow Goose Festival.  Some fun finished projects were shown.  Pillow cases were passed out for the members to sew.  These will be used as a humanitarian project for the women's shelter.

August Garden Party

For our August Quilt Guild meeting we met at Lisa's house for fun, food, and sharing.  We showed finished mystery quilts, voted on the ugliest fabric and scrappy challenge projects, and had a yummy dinner.  It was a great evening!

July #2 reminders

Don't forget to bring your boobie blocks to Carol at our August Garden Party.  Put your name on them and your name will go on a ticket for a drawing for last years quilt.

Don't forget that our next meeting will be our Garden Party of Lisa's.  Bring summer cuisine food and your own chair.  We will start at 6:00.

Bring your scrappy quilt project and/or mystery quilt and/or ugly fabric worked in a project.  We will be choosing our favorites and giving prizes.

Last week was our last open sew for the summer.  There has been challenges with the building, getting keys, etc.
