FEBRUARY
I haven't recieved any pictures from that evening so as of now I don't have any to post.  It sounds like it was a fun night.  There was a great turn out, Cindy shared the next part of the mystery quilt, there was a visit from our area representative, and lots of fun show/tell.

January Show and Tell

January 9, 2014 Meeting

Thanks to all who attended Thursday.  We had a great time with a lot of information given.  Here's a run down:
Carol Nielson-president
Ashley Bryan-vice president
Treasurer, etc.-Linda Kersey
UFO's-Janice Patton
Show & Tell-Holly Nissen
Blog-Carol and Carolyn Taylor (for now)
Program committee-Carol, Carolyn, and Pam Jensen
Scrappy Challenge-Cindy Gardner
Summer Party-Lisa Stump
Christmas Party-still looking, let Carol know if you will be in charge
Melissa Draper-pictures when able

Holly is doing a cute idea for Show and Tell.  When you show a project that you have completed you will recieve a pattern for some kind of pin cushion.  Bring a pin cushion back that you have made and pick something out of the pick box.

Cindy is doing a mystery quilt and passed out the pattern for the first month.  It will go for about four months.

Carol & Cindy demonstrated different ways to do a half square triangle.

We are considering a closed group face book page.  If you are interested let Carol know.

2014 is Here

Welcome quilters new and old!  We are excited for a new year to begin.  Our first meeting will be next Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the district school building.  We will be showing some fun ideas on how to do half square triangles, sharing a mystery quilt, and as always show and tell.  Come and bring a friend!

Here are our May Quilt Guild pictures.  Some of these are from our show and tell and some are from our guest presenter, Pauline Christensen.  She had a lot of awesome quilts to share with us!

March meeting...

Here are the pictures from our March meeting.  I'm sorry some of them are kind of dark- I'm still trying to figure out how to make things looks good with the weird fluorescent lighting in that room!
