We had great presentations by Peggy & Shanda.  Peggy demonstrated how to paint on fabric and Shanda showed us tips/tricks to making a t-shirt quilt.

Summer activities

Don't forget to be working on your scrappy challenge and ugly fabric contest.  The ugly fabric has to be in your project!  There will be open sews at Deseret/Oasis church on the following days during June and July:
June 5-Open up after 12:30 for open sew
June 12-Cindy will be gone, we will try to have someone open up the building for open sew, quilt guild at 7:00
June 19-10:00 for open sew
June 26-Cindy will be gone, if you want to sew conctact her
July 3-10:00 for open sew
July 10-10:00 for open sew and quilt quilt meeting at 7:00
July 17-10:00 for open sew
July 24-State Holiday, no open sew
July 31-10:00 for open sew

May Quilt Guild Meeting

What a fun night.  Esther Duncan was there and we got to dye scarves or a fat square.  So many interesting colors and designs.  We had our regular show and tell and business part of the meeting.  We all had a great time!
