April
Our April meeting was a good one with a full room of
quilt guild members to see how Ester Duncan dyes lovely natural fabrics with
natural dyes. It was most interesting,
she will be back at our May meeting where we will be able to dye silk scarves
or cotton fabric that can be used in quilts.
There were many beautiful quilts shown and many of the
ladies brought aprons in to show.
A report was given about the Snow Goose Quilt show and
classes, we cleared $1050.92 which is the most we have made.

Cindy Gardner brought the ‘mystery quilt’ that some of
you have been working on. It was great
to see what a nice quilt can come out of many scraps and mystery blocks.
